White phoenix Harbour 
Full moon hung low, its light spilling silver onto the still water. Blossoms trembled on the branches, their pale petals glowing like faint lanterns. Beneath them, the fish slept, shadows drifting in the quiet lake.
From the horizon, the white phoenix came. Its wings moved without sound, each feather a spark of light falling into the night. It glided low, its reflection a ripple, vanishing as quickly as it appeared.
The bird reached the grove, where the trees bent softly in welcome. Among the petals, it folded its wings. Calm, protected. He knows all the time, he is. White wise bird.
