ARTSIST STATEMENT
As an artist, I have the chance, privilege and responsibility of sharing my inner world with others.
Every person has unique experiences, unique life and energy - so do I. But there something is happening. I see through leyers, I can express deeper human emotions and subconscious worlds through my paintings. My paintings are mainly surrealistic expressions with deeper and layered stories.
Some paintings are closer to kids with their vibrant colours and simpler stories. Many paintings and almost all on bigger format are layered stories, deeply connected to our hearts and emotions, our history, subconscious.
Works are somehow always a reflection of my inner life, shaped by interactions I encounter on my journey, energy and how I feel in moments when I'm working on separate painting or a whole collection.
I'm completely fascinated by the universe, its origin, and our place within it. I'm fascinated by the fertility of the universe, of the connection between human beings and connection within human beings. I'm fascinated by brains and energy flow, mysteries of subconscious worlds.
I'm connecting science to art, creating works which explores both - themes of science and art and human heart all together. I aim to bring awareness to belief systems and artistic vibe which incorporate both elements in harmony.
I work with acrylics and oils primarily, but many time using mixed techniques. I'm incorporating soil and different media for making my art more deep, layerd as stories behind it and - connected to ground.
My paintings are mainly very detailed, sometimes anyway whole collections are very minimalistic but anyway in it's inner soul detailed, every time deeply exploring. I use repetitions and it takes many hour for finishing a piece of art, sometimes dozens of hours, sometimes months because of all thinking process and collecting stories behind.

Mojca Fo was schooling as an architect but her love for art and storytelling was showing till very young age. At two she sang Ode an die Freude, she was mad about Pippi Longstocking and she adored Dürer, all the time observing old master’s paintings and sculptors. Old soul people said many times. Over the years her focus has shifted from architecture to creating paintings and illustrations. She developed her own style with exceptional feeling for small details and for stories behind every painting, almost every line. She always find a way for unlogic twists which are obviously logic. She plays with stories which moves deeply human emotions and hearts. She like feelings of miracle happen when we meet each other. There’s always kind of miracle and calm energy in her paintings.
